Six other blocks complete this estate that was built 1930/1 on ground raised 16'-0" to avoid flooding. It is said to be named after a wood of oak trees that stood on the site, many many years ago, where locals let their pigs roam. On this site in 1894 stood Silver Street. The estate was refurbished in 1987.
