The pediment, dated and with leaf detail, above the door of no 26 College Gardens. Many of the former houses have been converted to offices or other non-residential uses. 100 years ago the street’s occupants were mainly “financially comfortable” – one was a director of the Northern Bank. Image shows similar detail on nos 24 and 25.
