I believe the railway viaduct is the only one left on this particular line, the other one was demolished by explosives sometime in the 1960s and it was on the east side of Gibbshill housing estate where it entered the Port Glasgow stretch of the line. To the left of the photographer is St Lawrence primary school and St Lawrence's RC Church. The cobbled street leading through the viaduct is one of a few left in Greenock.
