Some influence of Poundbury is discernible in the new development at Upton, not surprising as the Prince's Foundation was involved in the early stages. Alas, the paper promises of the design codes seem rather diluted in the built result, and there's (as yet) no sign of the mixed uses so essential to a successful development on this scale.
