Bungalows and council houses, Slyne-with-Hest

The bungalows were built in 1960 onwards, while the council houses date from the mid 1950s, enlarging the original village of Slyne on the A6 road. The area must be tricky for postmen, as there is Manor Road (shown here), Manor Lane, Manor Close, Manor Avenue and Manor Crescent.
