This has not been here long, and is almost assured a busy future if the Silvertown Quays development goes ahead as planned. Storage facilities like this were almost unknown in the UK 30 years ago but a trend towards smaller houses and flats with less space, at the same time as society accumulates more goods, has led to a boom in such facilities.
