Situated on what used to be the main road from Milnrow to Oldham, until it was bypassed by the soulless Elizabethan Way. It would be a fair bet to say that its present name is not the original one. They have used a lot of blue paint on the exterior, perhaps in the hope that someone will think it is the local Conservative Club.
