This replaced a timber-framed mill that was burnt down in 1830, and had a water turbine which powered rollers to produce very fine flour, and later provided electricity for the mansion in Albury Park. It later became a private house, then offices, in 2006 it was for sale, in early 2008 it is being renovated as streamside flats.
