Anvil Close is just an ordinary cul-de-sac off Park Lane in Birchington, but the streetlighting on it is fascinating! I don't know if you agree with me, but I think this lantern looks like a jewel! The entire cul-de-sac is lit with these, although one has been replaced by a modern lantern on the existing column. Just a shame the lanterns aren't shaped like anvils - that really would be apt!
