The listed building was probably built in the early 1890s for Rudge-Wedge Cycles. The company moved to larger premises in 1902. In the 1930s the building was used by the Pelham Steam Laundry. It may also at some time have been a bakery. The current occupiers are a double glazing company and electronics supplier.
