Early morning dappled sunlight brings out the richness of the colour of the stonework and terracotta of this Grade II listed building in Herne Hill Road. (NB Topically, as part of the London Open House weekend, the library will be hosting tours on the hour on Saturday 19 September 2009. Tours will be on a first come first served basis and will include the public areas, the despatch room and the garden.)
