A series of photographs of cafes and places to eat in on or just off Shields Rd, Byker. Included as it used to be a great little cafe. The shop with the black sign has just reopened as a health food shop, but has been derelict for over 2 years. Before then it was Heavenly Manna, typical fry-up cafe by day, and Caribbean food at night. And before then it was Rumbletums, did great scrambled egg and mushrooms on toast.
