The nave of the church was consecrated 13th October 1883. The architect was John Pollard Sedden but much of the work was carried out by his assistant, H.R. Gough. The style is Early English Gothic. http://www.sph.org/AboutUs/OurHistory/tabid/97/Default.aspx
