This site had stood empty for many years, with the area boarded up. Open gates indicated that work was shortly to commence on the site. Back in the 1980's, the building was home to Croydon Judo Club. Since this photograph was taken, the building has been demolished, and the site cleared. With the area behind the building previously cleared, it will not be long before excavations start; more flats.
