Under a road bridge near the site of a station and junction where the Irvine and Kilmarnock Line diverged from the Glasgow, Paisley, Kilmarnock and Ayr Railway's route from Kilmarnock to Dalry. The cycle path leaves the Dalry line and largely follows the track bed of the Irvine and Kilmarnock to Irvine from here.
