In November/December 2008, these new and interesting curvy lamp posts were installed on Clements Road, as the old lighting was become a little worse for wear. Clements Road was also made a buses only road around the same time, the street light replacement programme probably coinciding with this - this short section of link road leading onto Winston Way, however, is still for any vehicles for that reason.
