The London Borough of Epping Forest is a great place to come if you want to see some vintage 1950s/60s concrete lampposts. This one is just one of many that looks to still retain its original low pressure sodium lamp on Chigwell Road just outside Woodford Bridge and is the first lamppost that you see as you enter Epping Forest from Redbridge, the boundary of the two councils being just behind me in the photo. View taken from the bottom edge of the square looking north-northeast.
