A large public house located on the corner of Castellain Road and Formosa Street. It retains most of its Victorian features inside including engraved glass screens and tiles. One of my occasional lunchtime haunts 30 years ago - They used to keep a jar of large pickled onions on the bar, I doubt if they do now. The associated Formosa Dining Rooms is behind the pub in Formosa Street.
