Where Middle Street takes an unusual 90 degree bend to the right it by-passes the railway line immediately to the left on the apex of the bend. Also pictured is the Station Buffet public house, currently empty and unused - a great shame as it is an attractive and unusual building and should really be a vibrant hub of this small town community - a sign of the times perhaps?
