Karrier W 785 (GHN 403) leaving the Greengates terminus on route 42 to the City Centre. The vehicle has East Lancs 70-seater bodywork with a front entrance. Originally, it entered service with Darlington Corporation Transport as a single-decker (24) in 1943 with Brush 33-seater bodywork with a centre entrance/exit. It then went to Bradford in 1954, having entered service as T403 with 30 seats in January 1957, then withdrawn in January 1958, before entering service the following year as a double-decker vehicle.
