Further Meadow

The name of the field according to the 1843 tithe map and formerly part of Frankbarrow, a medieval deer park that was disparked and enclosed in the 16th century. Originally one of five very small fields located between the bridleway and the boundary of Ditchling Common. Now used as paddocks.
