Rotherhithe Town Hall statues

These stood either side of the main entrance of Rotherhithe Town Hall in Lower Road junction with Neptune Street, SE16 from 28-04-1897 to about the late 1980's, when they were removed and erected in the Heygate Estate, Walworth, SE17. The town hall opened 28-04-1897, was partially destroyed by a VI on 13-08-1944 and totally destroyed by another on 14-11-1944
