This is part of the Little Haven nature reserve http://www.essexwt.org.uk/visitor_centres__nature_reserves/little_haven/. I had come to this point following a grid reference from the Woodland Trust directory claiming this was the position of Lower Wyburns Wood. The Essex Wildlife trust volunteers I questioned denied any knowledge of “The Woodies” having anything in this area other than Image and they claimed Wyburns Wood as all theirs! I eventually found the woodland Trust site on the other side of the A127 see Image
