Non-compliant sign and gate, Starleyburn

The locked and fortified bridge over the railway seals off a large area of beach and should no longer exist. The harbour and buildings, no doubt used to justify this illegal gate are actually some distance away. A bit of a trap for folk traversing the beach as this is the only way over the railway.
