Swan and Cygnet Woods

This path passes between Swan and Cygnet Woods. The Woodland trust had owned Swan Wood (to the left) for some time. It managed to celebrate the millennium by acquiring land that is now becoming Cygnet Wood (to the right). Although there has been some planting of new trees much of the area is being allowed to reforest naturally.
