Union Bridge

This was one of the world's first flyovers. It carries Union Street across the valley of the Denburn. Today the Denburn is culverted and the bridge crosses Denburn Road and the Aberdeen-Inverness railway line. The bridge dates from 1805 and was widened in 1905 and 1963.The row of shops on the south side of the bridge was also added in 1963.
