Memorial to aircrew that crashed in the parish of Hilgay, Norfolk. The B17 aircraft (actually 44-6816, not 44-6818 as stated in the inscription) crashed at Poplar Farm on 30th March 1945 (not 1944 as erroneously stated on the memorial). For overall view see http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1450848
