Thornes Park Campus combines a beautiful parkland setting with a unique range of facilities for the study of Performing Arts and Music, Art, Design, Media and Communications, Business and Management, Sport and Public Services. Formerly Thornes House grammar school, most of the original house, circa 1780, was destroyed by a fire in 1951. The present buildings were constructed to re-house the school.
