A quiet spot within Alexandra Park, Edgeley. The stone Image recounts how the park was presented to the Corporation of Stockport by Thomas Hardcastle Sykes & Arthur Henry Sykes in 1887 and opened to the public in 1889 by Mayor Joseph Leigh.
