On the several occasions I've walked past this box recently, there were no signs of activity inside. That's not a window on the left side (hardly sensible), but a notice board , empty in this shot. The colours visible in the notice board are in the reflection of a van parked opposite - unavoidable on a very bright day.Compare the design with a more colourful example on the other side of the city.http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/636069
