Arnish Lightkeeper's House and Garden

Taken from the Lighthouse tower this image shows the accommodation for the Lightkeeper and his family. Arnish Light was automated in 1963 and the last keeper left on 17 September 1963. In those days they were largely self sufficient hence the large walled garden attaching to the property which also had its own fresh water supply.
