A substantial Victorian residence, in Windsor Avenue, dating from around 1870. 100 years ago it was occupied by one JC Mayrs – a director of JC Mayrs & Co Ltd, cabinetmakers, of 67-73 Royal Avenue (on the site of the modern buildings in the middle in Image). Now converted into flats.
