Not marked on Yeakell & Gardner's map of 1783 but does appear on the first OS map of 1813. Farms the land that was once a medieval deer park owned by the Archbishops of Canterbury but now threatened by the possible construction of a new reservoir in 2020 though the farm buildings would remain as they are located on higher ground. The drive runs through the farm allowing access from the A26 or lanes north east of Ringmer and carries a public footpath.
