Since being vacated as a youth holiday and training site it has been awaiting development. The centre piece in this photograph is a War Memorial and there is some poignancy in the poppies in the foreground and the memorial that commemorates those who had stayed at the site only to lose their lives in war. The photograph was taken from beyond the boulders that block access to the site.
