Parkstone: postbox №s BH14 189/190 and 191, Bournemouth Road

This double-aperture postbox stands outside Image and is most unusual in that the two halves are numbered separately – the right hand slot is box number 189 and the left-hand, 190. It is my guess that there were previously two single-aperture boxes sited here. Franked mail, and items too big to fit in the box, may be posted in Image, which is seen in the wall of the post office, in the background.
