Taken at the junction of Devonshire Avenue and Eastney Road. Many years ago, I used to help at a club for adults with learning dificulties at a nearby church hall. Nearly every week one would get lost coming, and I would have to leg it down here to phone their parents or carers. So the next time someone asks you "What did we do before mobile phones", think on. Despite the inconvenience I was certainly a lot fitter then!
