The Simpson Memorial Hospital, or Edinburgh Royal Maternity Hospital as it was officially named, closed in the 1990s and was recently converted into a hotel. The associated Simpson's Memorial Maternity Pavilion within the Royal Infirmary was demolished in 2006. Image
