Brightstone Lane is one of those frustrating roads where good views seem to exist just the other side of the fence, but you can't reach them. There is a very overgrown, and deep, drainage ditch alongside the road. In this picture, the spire of Upper Farringdon church can just be seen between two trees to the right of photograph.
