Compared to the previous picture Image there has been considerable clearance of encroaching undergrowth. This clearance appeared to have been done earlier the same day (nobody knew we were going - honest). It is likely that this had been used at the nearby Calcutta pumping pit for shaft work and converted to electric drive at the same time the big steam pump was scrapped.
