While the main road passes to the left, the old post office has a little driveway which runs at a considerably lower level. It closed down in 2001. The postbox alongside is emptied finally at 4pm on weekdays and at 9am on Saturdays. The phone box, marked on the map, has now been removed but was there in 1994 - see Image
