This postbox stands just up the little lane which leads to the pub and bridleways to Blacknoll, although the main road is clearly visible in the background. It is emptied daily except Sunday at 9am. Careful scrutiny of this picture would seem to reveal the shadow, cast on the tarmac, of a road sign which isn't there! However, even more careful scrutiny will show that it is in fact the shadow of the light-fitting on the pub sign.
