This postbox is the only one in the village, and stands in a lay-by on the main road. It would probably have been moved here in the last 25 years, after the post office, across the road and a little north, closed down on 31 August 1973. It is emptied finally at 4:45pm on weekdays and at 10:45am on Saturdays.
