For most of its life, known as the Duke of Devonshire; after a recent refit, the name has changed, and pictorial sign has gone. Internally, semi-circular bar, with drinking & eating areas to front & right; dining area to rear, garden; some very fine Victorian etched glass panels. Cask ales on offer at my visit: Young's Bitter, Special, Kew, Wells' Bombardier. For some customer reviews, see http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/16/1699/Duke_of_Devonshire/Balham
