For many years, the Birdingbury Country Festival has taken place in the eponymous east Warwickshire village. Part fete, part country fair, part steam rally, in earlier years the event was centred on the village streets but now most of the events are held away from the public roads. This picture shows a typical two-door clerestory-roofed showman's 'living van'. Behind it, the lorry houses a Gavioli fairground organ. The tractor is a Ferguson - no country fair is complete without at least one 'Little Grey Fergie'.
