This postbox serves a more scattered, rural-ish area of Corfe Mullen, contrasting with the modern majority of the place which renders it apparently the largest village in England. The box is emptied at 4pm on weekdays and at noon on Saturdays. Also in the picture is a footpath to Central Avenue.
