Another view of Image, with a stair-turret in the middle of the northern side of the tower "as at Wellington, West Buckland and in parts of Devon" (Pevsner, South & West Somerset, 1958). As the waymark on the right indicates, a footpath (WG9/41) runs through the churchyard.
