The archetypal West Yorkshire millscape. The chimney has been fitted with a gas efflux velocity cone (i.e the little nozzle at the top). Local historian Stanley Walker has informed me that the mill in the photograph is Moorbrook Mill, opened in 1913 by Moorhouse and Brook. It has now been demolished (pity).
