Sunbeam F4 trolleybus 844 (FWX 914) is seen at Thornbury Depot on the final day of Bradford's and Britain's last trolleybus system, ie Sunday 26th March, 1972. It has East Lancs 66-seater bodywork, having entered service in Bradford on 1st January, 1963. Originally, it was No 30 in the Mexborough and Swinton Traction fleet being a single-decker with Brush 35-seater bodywork, having then entered service on 1st September, 1948. When that system closed in early 1961, it was then transferred to Bradford, and rebodied as a double-decker. This particular trolleybus has since been preserved in the livery shown.
