The embankment seen at right once used to carry trains of the GER (Great Eastern Railway), running east from Wisbech to a junction with the King's Lynn mainline at Magdalen Road which is at Image - note the old pre 1875 station sign still affixed to the signal box. The embankment now forms the border between adjoining gardens.
