This bench mark is on a sandstone block on the south side of Curzon Park South. The other side of the block shows signs of having had a plate attached, so it is reasonable to assume that it once indicated a fire hydrant like the very similar block on Hough Green - see Image Benchmark Database: https://www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm31213
